Lifestyler Treadmill – Because Working Out Is The New Lifestyle

Gone are the days when the lifestyle trend is going out to drink booze and smoke cigarettes and have one-night-stands.

Come on, who am I kidding? Of course those are still the lifestyle trends. But at least, there is a new health conscious trend that’s cropping up. Even some of those who go out on a drinking binge are out to lose weight or at least be free from beer bellies. In fact, look around your neighborhood and there is at least one gym there and at any given time, people are serious on their treadmills with Ipods on.

But you don’t have to enroll in a gym because you can just buy a treadmill and that is what this article is about.

Walking really is the best exercise and that’s why a treadmill is the most important workout machine you can take home and I suggest you buy the Lifestyler Treadmill, which is very affordable and really efficient.

When I say efficient, I don’t mean that the Lifestyler Treadmill is better than the other brands out there like Reebok or Icon, but the Lifestyler Treadmill is the best one that money can buy.

I don’t suggest Lifestyler treadmills for the slowest and fastest workout maniacs though. For one, the senior citizens and incapacitated who just wants to walk around for health reasons and need a treadmill, there are cheaper treadmills out there. For athletes, there are also better and more efficient treadmills that can cater to their needs.

The Lifestyler Treadmill is good and best for average health buffs and those who are just starting to work out and think they can do it for a long time.

Lifestyler Treadmill Reviews

The Lifestyler Treadmill is the most basic product for its purpose. There is no fuss with it and there are no complicated buttons to confuse the person working out. In fact, straight out of the box, one can readily use it without even a glance at the instructions. It’s very user-friendly. But don’t expect a television and an internet connection on the treadmill, because this has none of those.

This is exactly why the Lifestyler Treadmill is cheap. Because it doesn’t have any added features that are equal to added costs. But really, when you work out at home, why do you need television on your treadmill? What is the MP3 player for? Why do you have to browse the Internet while on the treadmill?

Just be careful in choosing which one to buy because there is a product that produces a guttural sound that might not be too pleasing.

The Best Home Treadmill – You Don’t Have to Dress Up to Run

I hate going to the gym or running in the park precisely because I don’t want to dress up. Yes, there is really no fast rule in dressing up for a workout but the truth is, no one really goes out in tattered clothes, not even to sweat it out.

This is the main reason why I work out at home. It’s hassle free as far as looking good is concerned. Because mind you, I’m such a girly girl. My running clothes should not clash with my shoes or socks or headgear. Then, I have to pack a water bottle, put on my Ipod and headphones, plus, bring some cash, just in case.

So I turn to working out at home because there is no need to pack anything and to look good at all. So I have here a list of the best home treadmill for people who don’t want to get cleaned up just to get dirty.

Best Home Treadmill Reviews

1. Sole F80. For one, it’s a folding treadmill so that it doesn’t have to take a lot of space at home, which is why it is considered in the list of best home treadmill. But the thing that makes it the best home treadmill is the warranty. You cannot do better than this—lifetime warranty on the frame and three decades on the machine. I am not kidding. This is probably the only product, and I’m not just talking about the treadmills, but all products, that has this kind of warranty.
2. Smooth 6.75. It’s cheaper than the Sole F80 and is an improvement of an earlier Smooth product and I have to say that what makes it a best home treadmill is the smallness of the product but still keeps its efficiency and also has heart and pulse rate monitoring, which are already essential elements for treadmills.
3. Gold’s Gym Maxx CrossWalk 650. This is not a favorite of mine but it can be considered a best home treadmill for senior citizens. This is not really for running so that the machine is not as efficient as the regular treadmills. But if you really don’t have to run, as in the elderly, then this is good enough especially when you know how much this is worth. Just $650.
4. Landice L700 ProSports Trainer. On the opposite of the Crosswalk, the Landice is the best home treadmill for heavy runners. But when I say heavy runners, I meant the athletes that undergo heavy training. Starters and those who run for health reasons, don’t need this. Especially after I inform you that this treadmill costs more than 4,000 bucks.

The Sportcraft Treadmill – It’s How You Get Up After the Fall

In 2005, Sportcraft Treadmill was made to recall over 1,200 of its products because there were over a hundred reports of uncontrolled acceleration of three of its model treadmills that caused people to fall and sustain injuries. The company suffered a backlash, not for all its manufactured products, but only for the Sportcraft Treadmill.

It’s not entirely true that treadmills and folding treadmills are alien territories for Sportcraft because it is a popular maker for all indoor sports products. While a treadmill is hardly considered a sports product but you can see the connection. It was just sheer bad luck on the side of the Sportcraft Treadmill, paired with bad quality control.

The products were manufactured in Taiwan and China, which is usually a bad sign. But there are a lot of companies that have been successful whilst still having its cheap manufacturing in China. The main problem was quality control.

The Sportcraft Treamill Future

Anyway, 2005 can already be considered history, so that it’s not a surprise that the Sportcraft Treadmill has started to make decent sales again for the product. Still it could not compete with the better known brands in the market. The problem with history is that while some people have forgotten it, it is also documented and forever leaves an impression so that people who do not know about the Sportcraft Treadmill recall, will eventually hear or read about it anyway.

Among the reviews of the treadmill following the embarrassing 2005 incident was the brand manufactured the worst electronically designed treadmill in the market. Now, since these reviews were done after the recall, it cannot be certain if this was bias-free or if the opinion was already based on the results.

The main selling point for the Sportcraft Treadmill is the price. This is because while companies are manufacturing electric treadmills, Sportcraft manufactures both the electrical and mechanical. This way, choosing mechanical would mean less expenses both in the immediate and in the long run. Mechanical treadmills are cheaper and one doesn’t even have to pay for the electricity while using it.

The Sportscraft Treadmill is also considered a trainer-treadmill because it slowly develops the muscles of the body. This means that it can start you off slow. In fact, this is the brand more popular in hospitals for rehabilitation.

Still a more popular brand for treadmills or more particularly the folding treadmills, is the Reebok Treadmill. I don’t think it’s necessary to explain this because the brand name will speak for itself. But a little bit of trivia, Reebok doesn’t really manufacture its own treadmill. The rights were bought by ICON but the Reebok puts its seal on it with quality control assessment and assurance, an important company branch mismanaged by Sportcraft in its treadmill manufacturing.

Reebok Treadmill – From Shoes to Where You Put Your Shoes to Good Use

With the trend of how a single company puts its mark in almost every popular product in the market, one American brand that went global has successfully put its mark on products that are limited to sports.

This is how one doesn’t spread itself thinly. Reebok’s vision is to constantly challenge creativity while staying true to its main role of promoting and manufacturing sports and activity products. Once known for just its shoe products, now, Reebok is also known for its Reebok treadmill.

The Reebok treadmill may be relying on its sports reputation but the company has limited its product to cost just above board, less than $2,000, it is not a lot when you compare it with its counterparts that have circulated its name for decades.

By the way, there are so many Reebok treadmills to choose from. But when it comes to folding treadmills, it is important that one assess the home space first before making purchases.

Reebok Treadmill Extras

Okay, reviews have it that the best Reebok treadmill is the Rebook 9500 ES Treadmill, which is a foldup with flat screen TV on it. Reviews say this is the best Reebok treadmill but I say, you don’t really need a TV for a foldup especially if you have a TV at home. I do love the Reebok brand, but one can be more economical without the TV. The important things in a treadmill are the pulse rate, heart rate and other health and exercise related mechanisms. This said, the Reebok Vista 8500 should be out too, it also has a flat screen TV.

Another great Reebok treadmill is the 8400C Treadmill that carries with it 16 trainer program and has screens that monitor heart and pulse rates. It is also very roomy, which also translates to bulk, but don’t worry, it’s also a folding treadmill. Among the many better reviews for this machine is the lack of irritating noise while it’s working.

The Reebok V 8.90 is another favorite because of its built-in weight loss center where you can choose the number of calories you want to burn off while working out. It also has the necessary monitoring system.

Since this is a review on what to buy, I will also give you the treadmill that one ought not to buy, the Sportcraft Treadmill. Well, it’s a good thing you have not heard of it because the biggest come on for the brand is the price, but it’s not a very efficient treadmill and not to mention, not very durable.
